4. Too late
CC is definitely a terrorist organization. Falwell stays squeaky clean, but he's got lots of minions and knows how to nudge them into violent action. It's happened a LOT, and just the fact he's walking around free is proof enough they run at least a part of the government.

This announcement might play in our favor though. I've got a friend who stands about a gnat's asshole to the left of freeper, but he hates Jerry Falwell with a screaming passion.

I'm going to forward him a certain article now. I'll be certain to let you know how it goes. :)

http://home.att.net/~vlaszlo/jerry_falwell_1.htm

On January 28, 1995, Herr Jerry took the opportunity to announce to the world that a miracle had occurred. Falwell announced that two Virginia businessmen, Dan Reber and Jimmy Thomas, had saved the University. Reber and Thomas had created a nonprofit organization called the "Christian Heritage Foundation". The Foundation bought up nearly half the $73 million debt that Herr Jerry's University owed. They bought the debt for $2.5 million at a bankruptcy sale. The Foundation then promptly forgave the debt! After years of financial strife, Herr Jerry was saved, and was thanking God for sending Reber and Thomas. The truth is he should have been thanking the Rev. Moon. It was Moon who bailed Herr Jerry out, and I believe Jerry knew it from the very beginning. There was no surprise "miracle".

The truth is Reber and Thomas simply acted as a conduit for Moon. The $2.5 million came from a Moon "cutout" - a Unification Church group called Womens Federation for World Peace. It was the Womens Federation for World Peace that cut a check for $3.5 million, paid to the Christian Heritage Foundation. The Foundation in turn bought Falwell's debt and forgave it. The Foundation itself appears then to have kept the balance, one million dollars, as a fee for its part in the operation.

19. Moon
http://www.christianmediaresearch.com/falwell.html

For those that are unaware of the Reverend Moon, he has repeatedly stated that he is greater than Jesus Christ. Moon says that Christ's mission was a failure because he left no children — but not to worry: God sent us the new Messiah in Korean form! Moon claims that his children are the spirit children that Christ was supposed to sire and they will rule the world under his auspices. Moon claims that in the grand scheme of things, Jesus wasn't even second best to Moon's "divine parenthood."

Muslims protest Falwell’s remarks about ProphetAdd to Clippings

TIMES NEWS NETWORK< SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2002 12:49:45 AM >
MUMBAI: Leaders of the Muslim community met chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh on Friday to protest against the recent remarks reportedly made by Baptist minister Jerry Falwell against Prophet Mohammed in a television interview on CNBC.

According to general secretary of the Raza Academy, Mohammed Saeed Noori, the minister had called the Prophet a terrorist, outraging Muslims across the world. “Mr Deshmukh condemned Mr Falwel’s statement and promised to convey our demand to initiate action against such verbal terrorism to the American consul general Angus Simmons,’’ Mr Noori told TNN.

“We feel that Mr Falwell’s statement is a part of a well-conceived plan by the George Bush-led US government to test the patience of the Muslim community,’’ Mr Noori said. “We call upon the US government to take stern action against the erring priest and demonstrate that they reject his views,’’ he added. Muslim organisations led by the Raza Academy had called for a bandh of Muslim establishments on Friday and planned to lead a morcha to the American Consulate at Breach Candy.

13. I especially like this part:
"The Rev. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life, who, in announcing a $1 million campaign to mobilize church-going voters, likened politicians who support abortion rights to people who support terrorism"

This is code-speak for "we think it's ok to kill people who support abortion rights". HEADS UP, people!

Jerry Falwell said he would quickly cash the check. Figures. He's an anti-christ.

20. They're telling us now?

Conservative Christians (sic) are something like 28-29% of the population and the GOP has a base of ~38%.... Judging from the way the GOP behaves in office, I'd say Falwell has it wrong and Mammon and Moloch are still RNC Presidents ex officio. Not that your average ConChINO would find noticeable or objectionable distinction between the Old Boss and the New Boss anyway, probably....
