Franken on AA Radio
Anyone listening right now? Al was talking about our troops in Iraq and nearly lost it. He became really emotional talking about them and how important it is for us to bring in a new administration. He had me in tears! The effect this administration has had on all of us is beginning to take its toll.....

1. Yeah, when Al starts talking about the troops he met
on the USO tours he was on, and how young they are, he gets very emotional. I've seen him do that on the Sundance broadcast once.

3. He's been getting emotional all week whenever he talks about the troops.
He is very angry with the administration and wants Bush to apologize to the troops.

4. He broke down in tears yesterday.
He recovered pretty quickly, being the professional he is.

Love ya, Al.

7. I heard that yesterday. It was nice to hear someone who actually
gives a damn talk about it.

5. I heard it
Bless him. No one dares accuse him of not supporting the troops.

What was up with the heckler -- the one Al called a schmuck?

8. So glad I got to hear Al's show this week
He's been great. I'm loving his "stump" speeches at the end of the last hour. And he's had me almost in tears several times.
