Opponents want Schieffer replaced as moderator in 3rd debate!

(CNSNews.com) - A "boycott CBS" website says thousands of people have "inundated" the Commission on Presidential Debates with emails calling for CBS correspondent Bob Schieffer to be replaced as moderator for the third and final presidential debate on October 13.

I don't know that I'm crazy about Schieffer, but the reason these idiots want him replaced isn't valid! This article says the Commission has been inundated with emails to get rid of him. I think we should inundate them with emails that say DON'T!

4. He was awesome on the Daily Show
actually told the truth with candor. I was so shocked at how rare it seemed. Let the guy hos the debate. Who knows who they would replace him with. It sure won't be John Stewart or Keith Olberman.

12. I just he was oddly childish on The Daily Show.
Also, I wanted to slap him every time I saw him during the Clinton years. He is no friend.

They are hammering RAther any chance thay can, and I believe they would be contacting everyone they can find to hammer CBS along with him.

7. Tom Schieffer, Bob's brother, was nominated by B*sh
as Ambassador to Australia. He was also an investor on the Rangers baseball team and worked as Partner-in-Charge of Ballpark Development with B*sh in Texas. So why are these *morans* trying to get rid of a guy who, if he is biased at all, might be more likely to be biased in El Shrubbo's favor? I say, let them unload Schieffer on the condition that Kerry's people get to pick his replacement. Al Franken, maybe?

doesn't seem to have quite grasped the concept of "diplomatic" and instead see's his job as defending any criticism of his great mate George and telling Australian MP's that they're "unAmerican" for denouncing the war in Iraq

13. Non issue - let' em waste their ammo on this
So amusing, by the way, that the media are now complaining about also getting inundated by DEMS this year. What used to be a clear playing field for the RW letter/phone/email campaigns is now being matched by our side. It had definitely tilted the media rightward over the past few years. Too late for Al Gore but I am glad we have finally learned our lesson.

Never give an inch and NEVER let them dominate the national discussion again. NEVER!!
