A hypothetical question for you
I was just thinking about this. What one, single issue, if any, would cause you to change your mind about a candidate in wanting to elect or not elect him?

We've seen groups like the Log Cabin Republicans who are willing to forgo their own needs in order to re-appoint the dope, and I'm sure there are many others who are willing to block their nose and vote for one or the other of the candidates simply because they feel, in their own mind, that the one issue isn't as important as getting this person into office.

But to many of us, there are issues which are very dear to our hearts that might create a lot of dissatisfactory thoughts if that person is elected, although we might approve of them in every other factor.

Thankfully, to me anyhow, John Kerry doesn't possess any traits that are so negative for me to hold my nose when I'm voting for him, and I've pretty much been on his side since Al Gore decided not to run. But there are always times and issues which could be the deal breaker.

What are these potential issues?

Against choice?
Against environment?
Against gay marriage?
Against health care?
Against human services?

Is there one particular issue (other than the smirks, the lies and the corruption) of this present administration that made you decide anything was better than the idiot in the white house now? For me it was ANWR. I was determined that the energy companies would not despoil that wilderness, and John Kerry was one of the main ones to oppose drilling right from the start.

So think a few minutes and see what the deal breakers are for you and for others. It will be interesting to see how we differ in that area.
