Here in Idaho a leading voice for "pro-life" causes is also against educating people about birth control and against condom hand-outs to prevent pregnancies and disease.

I realize there are pro-life Dems here, but I'm sorry. If you say you're pro-life but do NOTHING about all these babies that are here that no one wants, then I don't care about your morality. Period. All these self-righteous smacks who want all these babies here so badly but don't want to take care of them. Tell you what: we'll drop them off on YOUR doorstep and you can take care of all of them. All the minority babies, all the crack babies, all the AIDS babies...you get them all. If you want them to be born so badly, YOU take care of them. Put your money where your mouth is or shut up - that's how I feel.

FYI, I have only met 1 pro-life person who has adopted. And that person I deeply respect because she not only adopted all of her children, she also volunteers most of her weekends to helping children who haven't been adopted yet. If you believe so strongly in making abortion illegal, then I say you're gonna have to personally help take care of all these unwanted babies that will be born. It's so easy to be "anti-abortion" when it's not you who has to take care of a child you're not prepared for or can't afford.

Sorry for that rant, but it just really aggrivates me.
