the "Internets" huh!?!?!?
I missed the debate, since I was seeing a concert (if you are in Miami or South Florida, GO TO CHURCHILLS! It's our version of CBGB!) but I heard this lovely gem, that DUMBya said "Internets" yes, as in PLURAL! Wowwy, are you kidding me?!!?!??!?! Hollllly crap, and you thought his dad was out of touch in not knowing basic prices for general household goods back in 92!

IF YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO IS VOTING FOR W, GET THEM REALLY DRUNK OR OTHERWISE WASTED ON NOV. 2nd PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

2. Internets? I'll have to ask an OG-BYN about them!
There were verbal goofs all around. Kerry made a reference to OG-BYNs, which I suppose are ogstetrican-bynecologists.:D

3. was he trying to refer to the possessive?
Edited on Sat Oct-09-04 03:55 PM by ProdigalJunkMail
or maybe the fact that there is a civilian and military flavor of the internet? Verbal slip-ups are common...to all candidates and public speakers...not that Bush doesn't make more than his share...but it isn't really a thing to lose control over...

9. There ARE two internets :p
Internet2 is a second used for collegiate research. But then again, there's too many words in that sentence that Bush wouldn't understand. :D

8. I don't understand
Out of the entire debate that is what you choose to post about? What about the brilliance of Kerry's medical plan. Why would you pollute this site with that crap when there are real issues to be discussed?

10. Welcome to DU, Abid Hamid. Lots of silly conversations happen here
in addition to the serious ones. "If we weren't all crazy, we would go insane."

11. Lighten up!
The internets are big enough to hyperanalyze every insignificant event that ever happened.

13. You do realize there is a difference...
between "The Internet" and "internets."

Althought shrub probably doesnt know the difference I'm sure he was right about people saying bad stuff about him on the internets.

I'm sure there are several private interenets with rumors of the draft being spread.
