I did something immature yesterday.
I was driving across the 520 bridge in Seattle and I noticed the truck just in front of me in the left lane (I was in the right) had a "W '04" sticker on it. I was really irritated---I'm not used to seeing Bush stickers or signs. He seemed to want to get in front of me, because there were cars coming up behind him who were driving faster than he was. I didn't do anything illegal or dangerous, but I stuck just behind him and to to his right even as he sped up so that he couldn't get over into the right lane. I was pretty subtle, so I doubt he knew I was doing it on purpose, but he seemed irritated, so it did give me some satisfaction.

1. He was the illegal one...
No changing lanes on a bridge... oh, and I-90 is better than 520 :)

4. Well...
I was originally going to post this to the Lounge, but I ended up putting in it General Discussion because that's where all the other threads about bumper stickers, signs, etc., were.

If the mods agree with you, they can, of course, move it. I promise I won't be offended. :)

5. I rather enjoy feeling that we're better than they are...
We actually base our beliefs on critical thinking, unlike them. We don't readily accept the propaganda on tv; from the beginning of the coWard's appointment, we've actively sought for the real news on the internet to learn more about the idiot-in-charge.

I like to stay above the creeps myself. I like the story posted by the DUer who stopped to help a disoriented elderly lady stranded on the side of a busy highway & wandering aimlessly. She had several W stickers on her car, yet the DUer put ethics above political values & he stopped to stay with her until her son arrived. That made quite an impression on me.

6. Ha... if it's time for confessions.... whenever some yahoo with a W
sticker passes me on the highway, I speed up, get in front of them and stay the same speed so that they have the time to read all my anti-Bush stickers.
