Sylvan Learning Center pulls ads from Sinclair

As directed in this forum I sent emails to an advertiser saying that I enjoyed their products but that I was no longer going to use them, and that none of my friends and family were going to use them either because they advertised on Sinclair stations. I went on to tell them why I had a problem with Sinclair as well.

A few minutes ago I received a call from them telling me they were PULLING their advertising from the Sinclair stations.

8. I called Sylvan HQ this morning!

Their HQ is here in Baltimore, home of Sinclair Broadcast Group!

The PR woman I talked to first claimed that she knew nothing about the plan to air the anti-Kerry smear documentary.

Then, she said that someone had handed her a file of complaints related to Sinclair.

I told her that, as a former state curriculum specialist, I would begin informing teachers and parents of Sylvan's political ties to George W. Leaveallpoorkidsbehind.

She, of course, assured me that she would look into the matter.
