Most credible TV News Shows?
What television news shows do DUers think are "most credible"?

Daily Show doesn't count. ;)

I'm reluctant to use television as my primary source of news, but I would like to have a TV news source. Any opinions?

11. Agreed. I LOVE Keith Olbermann.
Best in the business. And last time I looked, his numbers were going up.

5. Democracy Now with Amy Goodman
On Link TV at 6pm on Direct TV or Dish Network.

She is really dry and downright boring at times, but you get all the news you would otherwise not hear.

Other than that - Countdown is a decent show, entertaining and not horribly skewed to the R.

7. Not exactly a news show
but I find the moderators on CSPANs Washington Journal to be impartial with their responses to callers. Also, they make an effort to counter conservative guests with liberal guests. And the guests are well-informed people who can talk specifically about legislation and issues. They've also culled from their guest list the more inflammatory people, like Ann Coulter.

8. Olberman
He presents both sides, but never seems to be reading from the WH talking points...unlike most TV news programs.

12. Too bad the Daily Show doesn't count with you.

Paul Krugman touted "the fake news" as being better and more accurate than the *real news*. He said so on the Al Franken show today.

14. None. All the networks proved they would lie for war
So, no matter how much I like Olberman, I don't trust the network he's on. I feel like they're just honeymooning us; when the chips are down they'll stab us in the back again.
