two major lost opportunities were:
Edited on Wed Oct-13-04 10:19 PM by msongs
1) drugs from Canada - Bush said he was talking with canada to get flu vaccine.........yet bush denies americans to get drugs from canada. why is it ok for him but not for us? kerry let that one go.

2) minimum wage question - bush completely ignored the question and did not answer it BECAUSE HE IS AGAINST RAISING THE MINIMUM WAGE. kerry let him off the hook for not answering it.

edited to ad a third missed chance:

3) after bush talked about religion etc, kerry shoulda said "evidently the president has never read the republican platform" LOLOLOLOLOL

1. Yeppers. AND Bob let Chimpy get away with interrupting him on the
Roe V Wade question and let him "answer" it by the back door.

2. missed opportunity for me
I still can't believe Kerry didn't point it out: when Bush said the Kerry plan would lead to rationing, Kerry should've pointed out that Bush had just asked people not to get a flu vaccine because there aren't enough.

We're rationing under the current system! Give me a break...

4. Here's 2 biggies Kerry missed
1.) Kerry should have nailed Bush for the 'poor education' causing outsourcing Bull Sh*t!
2.) Kerry should have said that putting Soc Sec money into the stock market could create another stock market bubble that could burst AGAIN and leave people pennyless with no retirement.

5. When * kept changing the subject from jobs to education
Kerry should have said something like "Unless the President knows something we don't, he's not going to be in office more than 4 more years at most, and during that time there's no way that jobs are going to be created by raising elementary school childrens' standardized test scores."
