O'Reilly says lawsuit is a "political attack"

How can that be? He is not in public office. Or is he referring to the fact that he so is so biased as to be seen as a representative of a political party... the Republican party. Bullshit...the lawsuit is because he tried to use the power he and all Republicans want and strive for so vehemently for the very reason they want it... so they can get things that they otherwise could not get...like sex with a pretty woman. I have never seen O'Reilly's wife but I would be willing to bet she is one of the Lee sisters... Home or Ug.

1. Isn't he always claiming to be bipartisan?
Of course, the claim is horseshit, but he does claim that....

3. Maybe he should "launch a probe"
Who knows what depths of depravity he might find.

6. I think that's all Bill was trying to do
and probably with just about the same feeling - just "launching a probe."

7. What the hell office is O'Reilly running for? "Political attack?"
These FOXians and Rushians are all alike. The law, morality, and criticism is all for somebody else and not them. Drug laws are for inner city minorities, sexual harrassment laws are for Bill Clinton.
They were quick to believe Paula, weren't they?

So this RW religious, moral, homophobic fanatics now include everything they say the "liberals" in clude: wife beaters, child pornos, gays, liars, cheats, thugs, draft-dodgers, sexual harrassers, murderers, abortionists, traitors, spies, tax-evaders, divorcees, bigamists, religious militants, and drug abusers. I am sure you will be able to associate at least one RW name with each of these.

8. From the extensive detail--
in the deposition, it looks like he was caught on tape. And if Mackris' allegations are true I hope she doesn't just settle and instead chooses to go to court.

9. The woman's lawyer is a Democratic mover and shaker
apparently--or at least a Democratic party partisan and O'Reilly alleges in his suit against the woman, and her lawyer that this is an attempt by the lawyer to ridicule Fox News because of their (alleged--that's what the complaint says) Republican leanings.

Remember too, O'Reilly said not too long ago that he was thinking about running against Hillary Clinton for NY Senate when her seat came up again. Guess this ruins his political career-I just hope it tanks his television, radio, and book writing careers too!

Two women were talking about this o'reilly lawsuit. One was defending him and even said kudos to him for standing up to this and why didn't the lady quit, or hang up, etc. I suspect this lady has never been harrassed before nor been frightened at a job due to a too friendly boss. Or maybe she is jealous. Maybe I should e-mail O*reilly and suggest he give her a call.

15. O'Reilly has been
exploring the possibility of running for NYS Senator against hilary Clinton in the future. There is good reason to believe that his thinking has become completely irrational, and that he thinks he can project blame for his ill behavior onto Hilary Clinton. Sad.

16. You hit the nail on the head about power
What drives repugs is power. Even poor and middle class people will vote against their own interests because they perceive the repugs as powerful, and want to be associated with power by voting for power. "Absolute power corrupts absolutely."
