This Fallujah Incursion Is Really Genocide - Are You Proud???

I overheard some conservative twits talking on the bus today. One said to the other, "I'm glad we are mowing down those terrorist bastards in Fallujah". I had just got done looking at some pictures posted on the Internet of the so-called "insurgents" in Fallujah. One was an old man who looked to be 65 or so, carrying a vintage WWII bolt-action, single-shot rifle. Two of the others were young kids who couldn't have been more than 14. One was carrying an AK-47, the other a sling shot. YES, a friggin' sling shot!

Now, I don't know about you, but I find it hard to muster a lot of good ole American pride over slaughtering old men and children carrying single shot rifles and sling shots! These pictures made me want to vomit. To hear these two Freeper cave dwellers bursting with pride over the slaughter of these poorly equipped innocents who just want us out of their country, almost made me even sicker.

I don't remember ever being asked by George W. Bush to be an accomplice to genocide, do you?

5. I Hope You Don't Think You Are Funny

Mocking starving people is almost as reprehensible as mocking innocent people who are slaughtered by "smart bombs".

8. Don't Even Joke
Honestly, my biggest fear is that Bush is itchin' to hit that button just once before he's out of there.

I wonder if Cheney gives him a fake button to play with.

16. Bush going nukular is only a matter of time anyway
I can only see it happening AFTER the election win or lose. If he loses, it will come quick because he then has to leave Jan. 20th. If he wins he will wait until after Jan. 20. But trust me, Bush will use a nuke before his presidency is over. You can take it to the bank. It will be red meat for the bus riding freepers.

3. I've been avoiding reading about it for that reason.
Once I read the first headline on it, I just couldn't read any more about it, and I haven't, it is too upsetting.

George Bush is sending us all straight to hell for this. I keep saying in my head, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" to all those Iraqis that I'll never know.

4. 'Oooo, I am so brave.'
I've just mowed down civilians with my fighter jet. Duuuude!' That is cowardice. Fucking cowardice. I hope all of those who support this war experience instant karma.

6. I think if everyone printed those pictures and left them in public places
with captions...such as newspaper stands where they whitewash the pictures...it might make it real for some.

13. Like the Abu Ghraib pictures? Do you know Lynndie England has fan sites?

As well as one set up to solicit contributions for her defense? Even though her legal fees are paid by the same taxpayers who paid her to put men on leashes.

The guy who blew the whistle? His family has had to go into hiding, so many death threats they have had.

Yes, US voters would love to see these pictures - an affirmation that their will is being done, that they are getting what they pay for.

10. That's how they want their money spent

There is another thread on this subject, I asked what the reaction would be if, instead of this, the US announced that all women would wear burkas or be stoned in the public square. Or that all young girls 11 and up must attend mandatory nude dance classes, televised on pay-per view, all to be paid for with tax dollars.

What do you think the reaction would be?

What is happening in Iraq reflects how the taxpayers wish their money spent. They believe the consequences are worth it.

15. Bump

What exactly are we accomplishing by spraying a city full of innocent Iraqi people with AC-130 gattling gun fire? You think that is going to inspire them to take up the cause of democracy?

There is a very big moral lesson here that some people are not getting:

YOU CANNOT KILL YOUR WAY TO PEACE!
