Either the polls are screwed, or the U.S. is full of idiots!
After all the debates the majority of legitimate polls indicated Kerry won, and yet today the polls are saying bush is ahead by 4 points

We have lost 1100 Americans in Iraq, a war based on a lie, this administration screwed up big time on the flu vaccine which puts millions of older people at risk, jobs are getting off-shored.

The difference between these two is very clear, and yet their are still 6% undecided

If all of that is true then this country is full of MORANS if bush is ahead at all

4. I have a question

24. I think the polls are a bit off but---
I also think that the majority of people that are voting for bush are "insulated" against any rhetoric. Much like people tend to ignore advertising, they have learned to switch off any slams at bush.

Its probably a reflex at this point to assume anything said by the other party is be default suspect and not worthy of introspection. So many frothing partisian talking heads on tv make the mind numb and switch off.

I suspect this thought pattern exists on both sides of the fence as well.

i.e. Any attempt to suggest bush has done something right brings down the screaming banshies to squelch such hearsy.

(Im not defending bush gang, Im voting kerry. my point is that closed minds dont all exist on one side of the isle)

It's a very close race that will come down to turnout.

5. The polls are screwed. That's all.
They don't poll cell-phone-only voters.

They don't poll voters who aren't at home.

A lot of them don't poll first-time voters--people generally DO NOT register to vote for the incumbent, they register because they're pissed off.

They're polling a higher percentage of Republicans than Democrats.

The real numbers don't look good for the Bush boy, which is why you won't see them until 11/2.

7. If only...
The people wake up and ignore the brainwashing TV and print media to know the truth.

Why does half of this damn nation trusts this murderous, lying psychopath of an idiot who is in the White House? Why?!?

Bush is not a decisive leader, he's a monster!

9. I think it's really a little of both...
My father used to say, "if you vote republican, you're either rich or stupid."

Truer words were never spoken. So, while a small part of those people polling for the microcephalic chimp are rich and smart enough to vote their own interest, the rest of his supporters are genuinely stupid.

There ya go.

10. Well the problem is....
After sweeping all three debates, the story on the news is Mary Cheney! The media is really screwing us on this shit, and we need to speek up and call them on this.

11. Given the stated choices, I'd say the polls are screwed up
On election day I think most Americans are going to vote for John Kerry in huge numbers. I doubt it's going to be anywhere as close as the pollsters say.

I've been a voter since Humphrey ran and I've never seen an electorate as alive as this one. If we get out the vote, W is out of a job.

13. I can hardly find a Bush supporter these days...all my friends hang
their heads in shame when the question comes up.

They know Bush has been a disaster for America and they regret their initial support.

14. What part of divided electorate
don't people get? It's going to be a close election. These minor fluctuations in polls mean little. What are we,pavlovian rats?
We've got to stop fretting and swooning over these small changes.

19. The polls are screwed. They had Gore 39 Bush 52 right b4 the election.
They had Clinton losing by an even bigger margin to George The First. Step away from the polls. They are only there to disillusion you and make you good sheeple.

is the one taken on 11/2. I'm looking forward to this election like getting my root canal re-done. I just want it to be over and go on with living. This is flipping maddening.

29. (Tin-Foil) Consider this ...

If the polls show a slight lead for Smirk before the election, and the election goes to Kerry by a decent (not landslide) margin, the Reichbots will go absolutely bonkers, not only for the time between the election and the inauguration (giving the Regime a propaganda license to do damned near anything) but for the next four years ... including the 2006 mid-term elections.

In the short-term, we'll have demands for recounts from coast to coast. There'll be claims of fraud and false stories cropping up everywhere. The Mighty Wurlitzer will be playing overtime - like nothing we've seen yet.

What does that mean for vote certification in Republican-held states?

Just what does that set up in 2008? Hmmm.... ? :scared:
