Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 12:24 PM by party_line
Only warnings that remotely resemble this was pre millineum and Atlanta- in both cases, acts were taken THE SAME DAY. URGENT DAILY MEETINGS...contrast with Bush, who didn't even ask follow up questions later. 911 rpt: "No indications of any further discussion btwn pres and his advisors"

Transportation systems WERE NOT FORTIFIED.

32. Mention of today's Knight Ridder article about mtg
with slide presentation by Pentagon- post war plan phase slide said "to be provided"

Now telling of Sanchez letter for more equipment and body armor writing that readiness rate was low.

Bush went out of his way to demean NIE as "just guessing"

If that's all the respect he has for CIA information, maybe that's why he ignored the Aug 6 report- and he didn't pay any attention to it until after he'd read My Pet Goat on Sept 11

The same company associated with Newt Gingrich when he wanted to herd Medicare participants into an HMO model of care. Golden Rule was at the center of that, too.
