That is even worse than he said about Howard Dean.

Shame on him.

Whose side is he on, anyway?

7. Carville is an idiot and an asshole. Fuck him. I've been saying so...
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 04:07 PM by familydoctor
for years.

Now I am proven correct.

Fuck him !
Fuck him !
Fuck him !

That bald bastard should go to hell. I can't stand him or his garbage partisan hackery, cynical drivel, and yelling at his navel. He's married to a fucking liar but seems to have no qualms that she is part of the problem. If I were Kerry I would have put a boot in his ass a million years ago.

After this election, Democrats and the DNC have gotten their last dollar from me. Unless they clean house after this election, I say piss on them all.

8. Well Carville should know, as he is married to one called Mary
Mary may not have the standard blond wig but she sure has the mean mouth.

23. Yes I am tired of being 'represented" in the media.
By people who are literally fucking the enemy.

John Stewart Jananne G and Franken are our future not hacks like Bgala and Carvile.

10. A party hack, just like his wife
He may be on 'our' side, but it's people like James Carville that helped create the rotten political system we have now. His only interest is in seeing the Democratic Party in power, not in changing anything for the better. So, naturally he didn't care for what Jon had to say. And Jon Stewart is *anything* but a pompous ass; he's one of the least pompous people in public life right now.

11. I'm neutral on this. But, imho, Stewart has the popularity that Carville
doesn't. Carville needs to be careful about that namecalling that Jon Stewart came on his show to rag on them about. Actually, this is evidence that Jon Stewart was correct.

16. How can you be nuetral on the nature of our mainstream media
1) Either you think it is basically OK or you understand it is basically corrupt and pro-Corporate.
2) If you think it is corrupt than, certainly, someone saying so is a good thing.

So which is it?

19. I'm only neutral about this thing with Carville. Not about the greedy
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 05:38 PM by w4rma
wingnuts who own big media and are putting their profits over our nation's health. And I want to note that those profits might not come from their media outlets. They may be running their media outlets at a loss, to be able to pump propaganda into Americans' homes, much like the Washington Times (funded by Moonie rubes) does.

I've been thinking about this, and an interesting side effect of that is that if you are a media corporation, only, you can't really compete against a corporation that runs their media division at a loss subsudized by their parent company's military or big energy contracts.

20. He said that Jon was being a pompous ass. I thought he was heroic.
Naturally, the guy who calls him a pompous ass has lost all credibility in my book. No worries, he had very little to start with.

22. As Carville is one of the very very few Democratic commentators on TV
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 05:42 PM by w4rma
who even occasionally are tough on Repugs, I'm not going to support any attacks on him. And I don't particularly like him attacking one of the other only liberal-leaning folks on TV.

There are LOTs of other folks to direct my ire at. And directing it at EITHER Stewart or Carville is just what Karl Rove would LOVE to see.

I would like to see this thread sink, along with all the rest of them on this particular subject. And I would like to see folks spend time on things that, in the next couple of weeks, will help Sen. Kerry become President Kerry.
