anti dem greeting card
I was shopping for Halloween cards at Target tonight. They had a card that said "the democrats take over the white house!" and then inside it said "Scared you didn't we? Happy Halloween !" I found this rude.

4. damn, I'm not sure, sorry
I was really surprised to even see such a card. It took a while for it to sink in just how unfunny it was.

5. Hallmark(87%) & Recycled Greetings(100%) mostly donate to Republicans
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 06:54 PM by bloom
Blue Mountain only donates to Democrats ((100% to Dems $275,000)) - #1 of the publishers.

Also UPS (Universal Press Syndicate)- gives 100% to dems - includes Andrews McMeel cards - but they also syndicate Ann Coulter's column (as well as Doonesbury and most comics)

I suggest buying the small, independent brands. :) - more likely sold in smaller stores.

P.S. Target mostly sells American Greetings

9. Blue Mountain Arts ended up suing hallmark
when the "care enough to send the very best" folks decided to copy Blue Mountain's best work. Blue Mountain won.

I refuse to buy Hallmark anything. They are an example of the "too big for our own britches" white male mentality of modern business.

6. Wait, wait! I've got one!
It says on the front, "Bush was reelected!"
Inside, it says, "Happy apocolypse!"
