Uncle Sam wants patriotic Freepers NOW!!!
Edited on Sat Aug-30-03 03:36 AM by JackSwift
Freepers are so f****** patiotic and so brave and so supportive of Bush. New troops are desparately needed in Iraq and the cause is so just, or so you tell us. The regulars and reserves are being stretched to the limit.

Freepers should go down to the recruiting office now and sign up. Get your friends, sons, grandsons, and daughters to sign up for the Army. C'mon, its time to do your patriotic duty. And make sure it's a combat position you seek, not some journalist job like Al Gore when he volunteered to go to Vietnam. Get a combat job like John McCain or John Kerry. Or sign up for your national guard unit like Dan Quayle or Shrub. Don't you think it's time that you earned the right to sport that asshole attitude you've been carrying around your whole life?

What, no takers? And here I thought that Freepers were nothing but takers.

1. The Draft in the 60's
This is BEFORE the lotto folks. The real draft. If you lived in a poor rural area like I did, I think about 40% of the boys in my hs graduating class joined the military (mostly to have a job). Not to mention those who already dropped out and joined. They did not count in the quota for the county. So this county sent its quota plus the 40% already there. Thats how you get the poor folk to fight your war for you. why the army in VN was poor white and black.

2. No, no National Guard Duty for Freepers

They should be sure to join the Army or Marine Corps, and to make it clear to the recruiter that want to be privates in the infantry, because all patriotic Freepers should make sure they are close to the action.

"Patriotism to freeper. Patriotism to freep. Come in freep. Freep?"

Most of them won't make it through basic, but they should at least try.

And freeps, be sure to tell the recruiter you've heard good things about eleven bravo, and that's the punch you want on your ticket.
