I think Joe Scarborough is becoming a reluctant Bush supporter...
I watch his show occasionally, because he's one of the few cable "news" hosts that doesn't make me want to shoot the TV. Lately it seems like he's been much more realistic when talking about the election. Unlike Hannity and his ilk, Scarborough knows there's a very real chance Bush could lose this election. He not only declared Kerry the clear winner in the first debate, but he didn't hesitate to say how much more presidential Kerry appeared than Bush.

So even those Scarborough still annoys the hell out of me, every so often he'll say something that makes a lot of sense, which is a rare trait in cable TV hosts.

Hannity, O'Reilly, Cavuto, Hume, etc, etc...
They're all worse than Scarborough. I'm not saying the guy's a saint, just that he manages to see things clearly from time to time.

5. He's extreme right-wing but he does seem less whorish in a way.
He annoys me much less than the "independent" O'Liely.

He also doesn't hesitate to acknowledge the Bush administration's failures and poor judgement.

One time he had Steve Earle on, playing an anti-Bush/anti-war song, and afterwards, he said "That was great - in the tradition of "Fortunate Son"

I guess you could say he's not on our side, but he understannds our side much better than many rightwingers, and doesn't attribute our positions to our being "evil" or "anti-American"

He's a smart guy, for an intern killer.

8. When Scarborouogh is good, he's very very good. When he is..
bad, he's horrid. You should have caught his screed against bush's first debate performance. He laid bush out.

4. I never thought he wouldn't vote for Bush
I agree that he isn't quite as bad as a Hannity, but he is a repub -- through and through.

Joe Scarborough "swings farther to the right than Marmaduke's pink thing"

9. Scarborough? You must be joking
"A former insurance defense lawyer, Scarborough made his name in local politics by leading an antitax crusade and representing the civil legal interests of Michael Griffin, the convicted murderer of a Florida abortion provider...."

"He instigated a "revoke the Oscar" campaign against Michael Moore..."

10. Scarborough is just learning some of tweety's tricks
Keep the watchers guessing. I don't buy his pretense at even-handedness.
