Karl Rove -- the (Plame) silence is deafening

Karl Rove appeared before the Plame grand jury last week. He is under no obligation whatsoever to keep his mouth shut about what he testified to. To the extent that whatever he said exculpated him and those around him, it would be in his interest to leak it via the usual media suspects who specialize in right-wing faulty plumbing. It would also be in his interest to do so well before the election, to put out any flames fanned by misguided speculation.

I've yet to read a word about his testimony, other than that it occurred and took over two hours.

4. It gets so irritating how Rove and * get away with so much...
...any Democrat in the same position would be investigated and hounded by the press to no end!

6. If dems would attack Rove over plamegate, they'd get coverage
Has kerry said a thing about this monster scandal?. Have any of the leading democrats? We can't expect the press to do everything. We need to give them a story and i wish kerry would accuse the WH of treason for exposing valerie plame. The press would report that.

7. Terry MacAuliffe did last week
When someone on CNN asked him a question about Mary Cheney he responded by talking about Karl Roves grand jury testimony in the Plame investigation.

Other than that I haven't heard about anything else.

10. I don't think that's correct...all testimony given to a Grand Jury is...
...considered totally secret. I would imagine that everyone involved has been given strict instructions to keep their yaps shut.

Additionally, Rove's testimony may be of such a nature that any portion leaked to the press could lead to the implication of a person or persons in high office.
