New Republican Meme: Democrats Are Cheating At The Ballot Box
I have had enough of these assholes. Will they ever stop crying?

They got the Supreme Court, the Senate, the House, the Presidency, the media, everything, and they are crying more than ever.

This new theme they are touting just makes me want to retch. It's sickening.

1. That, in my opinion, is what this election is going to be a huge mess
I think they want it to be as muddled, difficult, letigious, and time-consuming as possible. That way, they can discourage people from voting (except for hatemongering rednecks out to vote against gay marriage) and, more importantly, can blame any delay in results on Democrats.

Maybe finally the public will give in, declare Bush emperor for life, abolish the court system, and make other parties illegal.

2. Oh, yeah
I spent some time reading the Freeper threads about how the DEMOCRATS are sure to be cheating, how Bush needs at least a 5-point lead to overcome the "fraud", and how their worst nightmare is on Election Night, one by one, Battlegrounds go for Kerry (and some are even talking about 'talking matters into their own hands' whatever that means).

It's beyond absurd. It's evil. It's kinda like the "liberal media" myth: accuse your oponenet of something you are doing before they accuse you of it. Attack is the best defense.

5. It was a deliberate, strategic division of America.
And too many have fallen for it.

They know in their bones that they will lose in a fair count. They know.

So do we.

We will not be violent. We will be legal. Because the law still protects us.

But if they come for us........

7. It's gonna be messy, (wo)man...
Because YOU KNOW they won't just take the loss. They are all ready to declare "fraud", and their puppet masters are set to fan the flames.

And if the results show Bush winning, we will have more than enough reason to suspect fraud. Good thing we're not violent by nature, unlike those ghouls.

But it's gonna get messy, either way.

14. Yup. They scared us off with it the last time.
We treated for the sake of democracy. For democracy's sake, we can't retreat now.

There have been multitudinous election frauds over the years, leave us not kid ourselves. But when they brought the Court into it, that went past fraud. That was a coup. Now all our elections are suspect.

Never again.

3. The very essence of propaganda is to accuse your opposition
of doing what you are, in fact, doing yourself. The Repukes have bee getting away with this for years. Because the Corporations who own the media want them to.

21. Yes, THAT is the meme: "Accuse your opposition of your crimes"
This is just an instance of the behaviour, all to familiar to those
of us shaking our heads.

Perhaps there will come a point, when their propaganda machine
backfires on them, like the soviet one did, where nobody believes it
anymore. naah!... we're gonna win, that's why their spinning up
a lie about this about now.

That they are attacking means we're doing the right thing getting
out the vote. Its a contrarian message to keep up the good work!
Let's just take this as a compliment and go from there. :-)

22. It happens so often the media must know about it.
But I have never known them to ever point it out to the public.

23. My father used to call it the truth finger
When you point to someone else, like "She did it.", look at where
your pinky/little finger is pointing. The truth finger reveals all.
:-)

Sadly, in a world of children, nobody knows the wisdom of adults.

4. Just their way of urging Repigs to cheat preemptively
'Screw the Democrats before they can cheat.'

Republicans are crybaby paranoids. Let's see who the sore loserman is this year.

8. Yesterday on the Tavis Smiley show
ex-congressman J.C.Watts was laying down the same bullshit, about how it was the Democrats who were cheating and all those stories about GOP trying to suppress the black vote were just a figment of the Liberal Media's imagination. Tavis never called him on it either. I guess he was too polite to tell a brother he was delusional.

11. Tavis never confronts J.C.
J.C. aspires to be "the dumbest white man alive."

(Surely this will offend some people (I apologize) but it's funny and it's true.)

9. There's nothing new about it.
That's what the so-called recount riots were about. They were claiming that the Dems were using the recount to fix the election.

And they'll do it again this time, and not just in Florida.

12. Yesterday I saw that whining Peggy Noonan. Crying and whining and
frowning all over the tv screen about democratic fraud. She wants Kerry to make a speech and say that he would rather lose than to win through voter fraud.

I wanted to punch her face through the tv screen. She kept whining about how important this was to "democracy", etc. etc.

I've had enough from these assholes. Greedy fucking bastards.

15. And her "Idol" St. Ronnie is burning in HELL on a spiket!!!!
Take that!!!

:grr:

It was her "idol" Reagan who ordered the National Guard on the AA Community during the 60's Watts Riots so of course Looney Noonan would feel this way. She learned from her "segregationist" friend Ronald Reagan!!!

16. This is why democrats should have screamed in 2000
Gore and the other dem leaders should have accused the repugs of stealing the election and never let up the last 4 years. Put the repugs on the defensive for once. Lord knows they had plenty of ammo what with the florida election being run by K Harris and jebby.

When will democrats learn to fight?

18. They know their man is going to lose
So they have to justify it as, "Democrats cheated!" They will never admit that Bush's policies have been a failure and they American people finally awoke to that and kicked his sorry ass out of the White House. So, they're already starting the cheating cry.

25. This is their usual MO to make it look like "they're doing it too"
They use this with all their corrupt campaign financing as well. They will either make up an "event" involving Dems, or find a tiny insignificant thing and blow it out of proportion. Just like the indisder trading issues.
It's their little evil way of deflecting attention from their huge crimes.

26. Where are the reported incidents of Dem fraud?
ESPECIALLY efforts by officials to use the power of the State to suppress/repress/or alter the vote?

I havn't seen many, if any at all, but then, I read the alternate media.

Let's keep track of incidents we come across of actual reports...otherwise, we are fighting without knowing our enemies weapons.

And let's keep in mind that fraud by a party operative is criminal but does not pose the same danger to democracy as State repression.
