I know that this is a very small minority , but even one complaint of abuse is one too many . The local law by its very inaction is complicit in these crimes and we too are 'enablers' , by allowing it to happen . Surely everyone can see this is wrong ?

We go to war to 'free' another country's people from their dictator , but leave mini religious despots to rule in this country because of the 'right to religious freedom' . But there is no freedom for these poor girls and women , what about their 'rights' ? Where is our outrage ?

I hope it's just because most people don't know about this . The alternative , that we do know , but don't care enough to speak up about it , is just too horrifying to contemplate , because if we are just turning a blind-eye to their plight , what will be next ?
