Can I bring a camera in to my polling place, and to the BBV?
I am trying to do searches about this, but have no definitive source yet.

I am in Florida.

Also, when I voted during the primary cycle, the touch screen machines were not positioned so that it was in any way private. The screens faced the poll workers, and there were no shields or curtains.

Anyway, I want to take some pix, and just wanted to see where I stand legally.

1. It's often easier to ask forgiveness...
...than permission. What's the worst they can do? Make you put your camera in your car?

2. No...
when I early voted, they made everyone in line turn off their cell phones for two reasons: 1) no campaigning allowed close to poll places, and 2) so many cell phones now can take pictures and you are not allowed to take pictures of people voting

3. In Pennsylvania, there are not supposed to be any cameras
inside the polling place. The head of our county Voter Services says she cringes every election day when they show pictures of bigwigs voting.

No idea what the rule is where you are, but you can find out by calling your County election office.
