Even if he was not complicit, which I believe he was, don't people realize that Bush ALREADY FAILED to protect us?

The worst terror attack in history occurred under his watch!

5. I agree. Anyone who votes for Bush* for protection against a

"terrist" attack is crazy. And Condoleezza Rice didn't become alarmed until the Pentagon was attacked! I want a National Security Adviser who will go on the alert if a firecracker goes off in Times Square.

Any serious commander, who just grounded his ship, would have a
rather intense shakeup of command for those folks charged with not
grounding the ship... including court marshalls and mass resignations.

Rather, incompetence is promoted in the bush junta, and someone else
was blamed, a nameless organization and a tiny gang of malcontents
successfully wage asymmetric war to destroy the constitutional state,
the bill of rights, getting the junta to committ war crimes and
high treason. Clearly, the attackers had the administration totally
outwitted, and that no media even notices, shows the institutional
incompetence that has ravaged the mass media and government.

This has boggled my mind for some time.

Of course, Bush&Co. have their little talking point "everything changed after 9/11" which doesn't explain a damn thing and somehow is supposed to make people think that anything that occurred before the morning of 9/11 isn't relevant... as if the world began on that date (except, naturally, anything having to do with Clinton's penis is still written in stone).
