Swiftvet TV special to air election eve Show hosted by John O'Neill slated for Florida markets

Building on its nine-ad campaign, Swift Boat Veterans and POWs for Truth is featured in a half-hour television special that will air in key Florida markets on the eve of the election.

Titled "Unfit to Lead," the program is hosted by swiftboat vet spokesman John O'Neill and includes some of the men whose testimonies about John Kerry were heard in the advertisements played in battleground states.

The TV program is based largely on the group's New York Times No. 1 best-seller "Unfit for Command," which challenges John Kerry's account of his war record and his anti-war activities.

A non-profit Florida group, Campaign Truth, is distributing the show on DVD and purchasing air time in the state this weekend.

Stations and broadcast times will be announced by tomorrow.

In the special, one of Kerry's former superior officers, Capt. George Elliott, says he believes Kerry should have been removed from command.

Elliott was commander of Coastal Division 11, where Kerry spent his four months of active duty in Vietnam.

"If I knew then what I know now, he would have been thrown out of my command and probably recommended for removal from the Navy," Elliott says of Kerry.

Steve Gardner, who served as a gunner on a swift boat under Kerry's command, says Kerry could have been court-martial if the chain of command knew then what it knows now.

The special, which took three weeks to produce, was organized by a group of Florida residents who, while waiting out Hurricane Frances, noticed the numerous TV ads for John Kerry that ran with no response.

What stations provide air-time for half-hour ads? It sounds like it will run on cable channels way up on the dial - nothing to worry about.

The swift boat liars had their moment in the sun and everybody has heard their story and it's been totally debunked and they have zero credibility.

Nobody cares about the swift boat liars anymore.

People are getting sick of these fools.

If each side had equal money, the Republicans would have no chance of winning an election.

But they have the huge corporations funding them so they outspend us ten to one, and that's just the money we know about. Imagine how much money trades hands behind the scenes. You think the executives at Sinclair (and CNN and Fox) aren't making their money back many times over behind the scenes?

Money is the major factor that decides most major U.S. elections.

reflect the dissatisfaction with the Swift Boat Liars. Only one person now posts anything about the SBL and no one responds. It's like lets let him rant, but I am distancing myself from them. And this has basically happened since O'Donnell called him a liar on the air.

As soon as John Kerry is elected president, O'Neill will be beating his head against the wall, screaming, "President Nixon promised ME that job! I was his favorite! Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!" :cry:

Ted Koppel destroyed John O'Neill. Let him spew all he wants. Every day for the next 8 years, O'Neill will pick up a newspaper and read the words, "President Kerry." Every day for the next 8 years, he will turn on the TV and hear the words, "President Kerry." O'Neill will lose what's left of his tiny mind long before President Kerry's second term is up. :evilgrin:

Would you mind telling us how the buttnuts plan on "buying" airtime and where? I mean, can anyone "buy" some time on election eve on NBC, ABC, etc.? Or is this on some obscure asshat cable channel?
