I refuse to have the girlfriend of Rush Limbaugh giving the news to me, as I doubt her ability to be unbiased.

I remember Rick Sanchez from his failed stint in Florida, then his failed job at MSNBC, and I won't watch him on CNN. Boy, he loved war so much at MSNBC, and he beat those drums loudly and brashly.

His personal history is not exactly unblemished either.

I am going to write CNN to let them know that segment of the day is totally off bounds for me. I feel it is an effort by CNN to say "in your face" to Democrats.

They could not have picked two people who are more dismissive of the Democratic process.

1. I don't really like ANY of the CNN anchors
Heidi Collins is the least offensive, but Hummer, Soulessnad, Anorexic Carol Costello and Daryn K--is being hollow a prerequisite for being on air at CNN?

7. Omigod, when it's Heidi and Bill
I just can't stand it. When they get together it is just nauseating. I just want to scream "Just f*uck already."

Thanks to AAR I don't have to have the sound up on CNN. I have it on in the background but listen to the streaming sounds of AAR.

2. CNN seems to have a death wish...
The repugs don't watch because they think they are left of center, we won't watch for obvious reasons. Who are they targeting? Household pets left alone at home all day?

4. Rick Sanchez is not incapable of making up news as he goes along.
He did it during the funeral of Jackie Kennedy making up so many details as to when the casket was leaving the home, the people who were present ... as the morning went on ...the casket had not yet left the home, the family members that he identified were not the ones who were with the casket ... and he seems to have a wild imagination... i think that kagan and sanchez together won't be a long lasting duet at CNN and since he has stolen some of kagan's SOLO thunder ... and she may have some pull ... i think he won't be sitting next to her for too much longer.

lots of assumptions here, i know.

5. Whoever hired Rick Sanchez at CNN is a moron
My local Sinclair affiliate some anchors that are more competent than he is. He's always acting like he's trying to do a constant impersonation of Geraldo Rivera.

I never cared for Daryn Kagan and she can date whoever she wants. Since they let Leon Harris go she has been like a fish out of water.

8. Rick Sanchez: what will this crazy buffoon do next?
Just found an article at http://www.petesilver.com/adios_rick_sanchez.htm The author pretty much sums it up for me halfway through it.

****
From early on, the principles of Journalism were always crystal clear. Edward R. Murrow and the rest of the top-shelf journalists set the stage for honest reporting, and never – never, never, never – overblowing a story.

I don’t know where Rick Sanchez got his style. Don’t care, either. But I was always offended. Always felt he had no right to editorialize in his leering words, exaggerated intonations, and highbrow sense of disdain.

In fact, the only way I found I could watch him was as a form of amusement: what will this crazy buffoon do next?

Pairing Sanchez with Laurie Jennings made no sense, either. Unless you figure that a very attractive, poised, sweetfaced younger woman would be a good pairing for TV’s unforgiving eyes. Jennings, who’s from tony Greenwich, Connecticut, never stooped to Sanchez’s level. There oughta be an award for that.

One wonders what the TV execs were thinking when they hired Sanchez. And I don’t just mean at WSVN, either. Who at MSNBC, his new home to be, thinks they are getting a winner?
