Should anyone believe an official American count of Iraqi casualties? It's in their best interests to downplay the damage they caused.

Case in point, the Pentagon, to this day, claims that only 506 civilians died in our invasion of Panama. Every other count, by international groups and commissions, place the toll at 2,000 or better.

Iraq is a big graveyard, and after the first Iraq war and 12 years of sanctions, in addition to this little war, we have nearly committed genocidal acts against the Iraqi people. America doesn't want anyone to hear about this. I'd bet they already have a flowery version of the war ready for some Hollywood film to be released soon.
