Rove and Hughes. Pure desperation in Ohio.
Go trick or treating in hunting camouflage in Ohio.

Yeah, we get the joke. Keep working on those resumes back on Kerry's next plane.

This has been noted on several other boards.
Does anyone know if Rove has a drinking problem?
This can be a sign of advanced alcoholism.

17. Funny that you mention that..
one of my son's friends went to Spencer's Gifts and bought a costume in the shape of a penis with testicles attached. It has a small battery operated fan that inflates it once he puts in on. The damn thing is about six feet tall. I did a double take when I saw him walking up the driveway and thought for sure that if the sheriff saw him he would spend the night in jail. THAT would be a perfect costume for Bush. I am thinking of having him stand near our precinct on Tuesday with a sign saying "Hi, my name is Cheney" or some such thing. We can always bail him out.....

Entering the Homestretch With a Smile
By ELISABETH BUMILLER

Late last week at a campaign rally in a dark Pennsylvania pasture, thousands of supporters listened raptly to President Bush and then watched fireworks explode overhead. But other pyrotechnics were going off in a distant corner, where a giant scrum of reporters ignored the candidate but hung on to every word of a bombastic, deceptively cherub-faced man Democrats love to hate.

He was Karl Rove, the president's political adviser, the man who devised the strategy of playing hard to Mr. Bush's conservative base. On Nov. 3, depending on the outcome, Mr. Rove will be either a genius or a goat.

It is hard to know what Mr. Rove has been feeling inside, but in the waning days of his toughest political fight he is suddenly turning up at campaign stops to push his sunny version of events on reporters, who rush to him like ducks seeking a crumb of bread in a pond. Almost nobody knows if Mr. Rove's cheery mood means he is convinced from the campaign's polling that Mr. Bush will win, or whether it is a front to try to put a positive spin on a bad turn of events.

Either way, it was Mr. Rove who said four years ago that Mr. Bush would easily beat Al Gore in the Electoral College, a prediction that reporters like to bring up to torture him. Someone dutifully mentioned it in the press scrum in the pasture.

"Rub my nose in it," Mr. Rove shot back.

34. The funny thing is, they don't realize that this crap DOESN'T resonate
with middle America. Middle America is smarter and more sophisticated than these clods give them credit for. Only the freeper fringe thinks jokes about Kerry "looking French" are really funny. The rest are laughing AT them, not with them. The vast majority of Americans thought "freedom fries" were stupid, and did NOT pour their French wine down the gutter. Even at the height of Iraq War fever, the attendance at their stupid pro-war anti-Dixie Chick rallies was sparse.

Their non-stop pandering to what they think is the stupidity of middle America is what will backfire and bite them on the ass.

20. Bush doesn't hunt
What the hell? How exactly does this exercise in ridicule help Bush? I thought that Kerry's hunting trip would really get BC04's goat because as far as I know, Bush nevers hunts. Prolly scared of big boom-boom sticks (Bush's personal cowardice is well known). SO Kerry actualy went hunting and bagged a couple of geese, so Bush's hack pols dressed up in hunting gear is, what, funny? This is as funny as the purple heart band-aids.

It drives the 'pukes NUTS that their attempt to widely ridicule Kerry (as they did Gore), has not worked AT ALL. But they just haven't given up. Nice try, Karen and Karl. I'm just not sure that evoking images of Kerry actually hunting with a FIREARM, and bagging two geese, makes George "Pretzel Boy" Bush look better.

But maybe I missed something.

I love the shot (I can't remember where I saw it) of KKKarl sitting in front of the airplane wheel on the tarmac at some airport. It was on one of the liberal blogs, I think, or at least linked to some commentary there. It's like if Kerry were to ride around on a Segway with band-aids on his face and a bag of pretzels. He wouldn never do something so petty and childish.

And yet, look at them. They almost seem as braindead as their freeper followers.

And yes, this reeks of desperation.

Rover is old enough to have worn a REAL uniform, George is old enough to have worn a *REAL uniform , Cheney is old enough to have worn a REAL uniform..

They had "other" things to do
(* the guard uniform Bush wore was real.. it's just that HE was FAKE)

These chickenhawks are great at spilling other people's blood, but not their own, or anyone near or dear to them. Their battles are of a different nature.. They verbally assassinate the character of people who actually DID go to war..Did put their lives on the line.. They did it to McCain..and now they do it to Kerry.. They are unworthy of wearing any uniform that is not bright orange
