I can blame the trick or treaters since there were none there last evening when I came home. My 91 yr old uncle went out about 0730 to get the morning paper and didn't see them until after 8 am, he yanked them out and threw then in the curb. I of course went out and put them in the trash. I wonder what idiot placed them there. I even checked with my Repug rival he said he didn't but would have taken them. Oh well it was a waste of there time & money. My uncle has been a Democrat all his life and was in local politics for 42 yrs. At one time he ran with old old Ham Fish on the Jeffersonian Party as his alternate for Congress. He tells me back then Republican & Democrats worked together, had fun & partied together and solved local problems together, not like now. He is going with me about 0630 am to cast his vote for the next President of the United States, John Kerry. I took him a couple of times in the 90's to meet "Big Dawg" on a private reception line, they had a nice chat about old time Democratic politics. He was so happy to meet him, some SS acquaintances even got him a chair so he could sit while waiting for him. My uncle is no stranger to Presidential politics, he has met & campaigned for a lot of them from 1940 onward.
