Some days it is like a big family brawl (be grateful you missed the Green threads in 2001!) but most of the time the DUers have been there for each other when it got too difficult to bear. We have wept together and we have helped carry each other sometimes.

I had a huge amount of support from DU when I was managing a campaign and taking a lot of crap from the local Dem party for not forcing the candidate to go negative. My husband is running for office this year and DUers have contributed to his campaign fund! I have been able to come here and share my triumphs as well as my doubts.

I can't count the number of times that I have learned from DU and have found sanity here when I thought it was lost. Bless you all--my brothers and sisters--we will all see a better world after tomorrow!
