Art Bell is voting for John Kerry!
George Noory last night reminded listeners tonight he's having a special election version of Coast to coast am & mentioned how ARt was voting for Kerry. I'm REALLY surprised! I Love Art! Art NEVER mixed politics in his show. He was entertaining & I must say George Noory SUCKS! He's worse than Mike Seigel (Art's 1st replacement!) Wish ARt would gte a show on Satellite radio & come back!

Way to go Art!

3. Sweet...
I love Art Bell, been listening to him for years. I'm sure it pisses off that Clear Channel puppet Noory that he's voting for Kerry. That's great!

I was getting depressed but you just made my day with this....really.

4. I always liked Art
He's a kook, and a dyed-in-the-wool Libertarian. But I remember listening to him one April 15th, when some anti-tax nut was going off; Art responded that, yes, he pays a lot of income taxes, but he always pays them happily, because "that's the price for living in a free society."

Art's one of the good guys.

5. He was a BIG Bush supporter, but he goes where the wind blows
and wants to back a winner.

Bell is funny in his shifting allegiances and proclamations. He was saying we should go so far as nuking the Bekkah valley, when everyone was pro-war. When things started going badly he shifted completely. Now says he was always against the war. What a clown!

6. Art is a BIG environmentalist
He bleieves in global warming & wriote the book 'The Coming super Storm' or something like that. I'm not sure, but I thought I heard he wrote or co-wrote the script to'The Day After Tomorrow", but I could be wrong about that!

7. Right, but Bell glommed on to that...he takes a lot of credit
that is due elsewhere. Like his claim to "The Quickenning"...that's a joke.

I've been a fan of Art Bell's show for a decade, because he has interesting guests (occasionally), but he has fabricated much of his *ahem reputation out of thin air. He reads the wind and goes with the trend.

9. I was under the impression
That Art changed his mind about the war when we found out that there were no WMDs. Don't see anything wrong with that. As for the shifting allegiances, couldn't one just see that as changing your mind as new information becomes available?

10. He shifts with public sentiment...on everything.
he just tries to be on the leading edge.

His macho wartalk made me sick. Environmentalist my ass. The dust from a nuke or two in Lebanon would spread to all corners of the planet, as does the DU in Iraq...but he is clueless. What a poser.

If you ever heard some of the behind the scenes tapes of the way he treats technicians, etc., you would see what a high-handed asshole he is. He kisses ass upwards and pisses downwards.

12. Well, there goes Art's Ham Radio fan base....
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 03:12 PM by BiggJawn
a lot of those old farts who populate the 75-Meter band listen to Art every night, then spend the next day discussing the show.

This news will put Bell on their "poison" list, since most those old farts are pissed-at-the-world, tired-of-living Ditto-Heads....
