The "Tin Foil Hatters" Saved Us From Further "Terrorist" Attacks.
Thanks to all the tinfoil hatters for protecting us from more attacks.

The evil empire could not foresee the power of the internet as a medium of communication among the masses.

It is in direct opposition to the consolidation of media power. Maybe that's life's way of keeping a balance. The more they consolidate avenues of communication, something pops up to save us.

It is because of the constant drone of the tinfoil hatters that the evil empire didn't dare do what they wanted to do. Attack us again.

My hats off to the people who took the slings and barbs and putdowns, endured the ridicule of many, to keep us safe.

1. Hear, hear! To all the tinfoil hatters, thank you!
I agree with you Solomon. If it had not been for the internet and the circulation of the theories and the possibilities and the "what ifs", lord knows what the evil admin would have done.

Bring the light in and the fungus dried up and died.

Thank you tinfoil hatters!!

2. God bless them, every one
Oh, and here's an unrelated quote from the Simpsons.

Homer: Not a bear in sight. The Bear Patrol must be working
like a charm.
Lisa: That's spacious reasoning, Dad.
Homer: Thank you, dear.
Lisa: By your logic I could claim that this rock keeps tigers away.
Homer: Oh, how does it work?
Lisa: It doesn't work.
Homer: Uh-huh.
Lisa: It's just a stupid rock.
Homer: Uh-huh.
Lisa: But I don't see any tigers around, do you?
(Homer thinks of this, then pulls out some money)
Homer: Lisa, I want to buy your rock.
(Lisa refuses at first, then takes the exchange)

8. Honestly, though I disagree with their frequent illogic - I am grateful
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 02:59 PM by Selwynn
"tin foil hatters" force people to think about issues they might other wise ignore, and draw attention to subjects that might otherwise be swept under the rug. Even though their conclusions are frequently absurd, their "evidence" often shoddy their grasp of critical reasoning is usually lacking, they can make people think.

25. Ah yes, make 'em think
If there is anything about tin-foilers that is homogeneous, it is that they don't take, as truth, the first thing they hear. Tinny's roll the story over and over in their minds, thinking about all possible angles to the story.

And they are not afraid, in those endeavors, to go where most fear to tread.

It may well be possible that our communications stalled an attack. Certainly, if ever there were an attack being planned, Tinny's made 'em think twice, eh?

29. Governments have been doing it since Cicero. The romans were
experts at it. Hell, even the firehouses used to commit arson on householders who wouldn't subscribe to their services. Oldest trick in the book.

30. Good point, it is historic, eh?
Which also bolsters the point about how our open discussions may have had a huge impact. Certainly if the town people got wind of the shenanigans of the firemen, the plans were scuttled....

Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 03:10 PM by BeHereNow
are a SURE indicator that you are closer to the truth
than makes certain parties comfortable.
When a professional disrupter shows up
on a thread, and we know who they are,
and begins to ridicule and attack the topic and
other posters, that is a thread to pay attention to.
Count on this:
The harder the disrupter works, the closer to the truth
you are.

There are paid disruptors on ALL message boards who actually wait all
day for a certain member to show up, SOLELY
for the purpose of discrediting everything that member posts.
That's what they are paid to do.

Now why would that be so?
BWAHAHAHAAAA, we know who you are...
Now do you dare reply to this post?

17. Hi There, I dare to post, but we're on your side.
How's it going out there today, sweetie? Okay here, staying low today, joining with a small group of friends this evening. Holding breath, staying away from tv and cable till this evening.

Dallas did give Bushie a warm welcome last night, though. Bush had to make his last appearance of the day with several hundred protestors showing up at SMU. I'm sure he was less than pleased.

Very proud to be members of Grassy Knoll Society and we keep our tin foil with us all the time. (ceiling and walls covered as well, remember?)

19. Ah-HA! Just as I always suspected!
Anarchy 1999 is a paid disrupter!
ROLF!
Our voting place was very quiet today when I went, but the poll
workers were impressed with the turn out.
They said only 29 people showed up at the last election
but as of 11:00 am they had served 300 voters this year. YAY!

Glad to hear Dallas gave the devil his due.

I've got the tinfoil strategically placed-
Now I have to go plant some orgon tower blockers
in my neighborhood...
Hugs to you two and the Dallas DU clan.

14. Actually, I think it was Kerry taking the "I'm a better commander" stance
If there had been an attack, Bush would have looked even more incompetent.

BTW: I think Kerry took that position knowing it would block that particular "October surprise".

27. At your local market, of course!
We have a secret data tracking network embedded
in the consumer tracking network.
Anyone who purchases a minimum of seventy rolls of
tin foil in one shopping trip is automatically logged into the
data base as a Loyal-Foil soldier.
Those who do so more than once a month are promptly
promoted to the ranks of high officer and commanders.
If you should chose to join our ranks, we will find you
and send you official confirmation of your membership in our ranks.
Warm Regards,
Commanding Officer BHN / SoCal Base

23. Marc Green had a well publicized "Guess the October Surprise" site/contest
It was meant to counteract the actions, dull the effect. Thet announced the winner yesterday (independent OBL tape)

That was one of the reasons I did it. Seriously. I posted it all over the place, too. For those that didn't catch it, the scenario was:

Terrorist attack on Washinton DC
Elections postponed
Martial law is declared
Shadow government takes over.

28. Thanks to Stanley Hilton
For having the vision, courage, and tenacity to publicly make a case against the most corrupt, evil, fear-mongering administration in the history of the United States. Stating that he had evidence and insider testimony about what Bush*Co was up to with Vigilant Guardian and Northern Vigilance has made us all safer, as Bush*Co can no longer claim their pre-9/11 ignorance.

:tinfoilhat: You may be a Republican, but my tinfoil hat's off to you, Stanley. :tinfoilhat:
