Dear Sweet Jesus, do not let Christopher Dodd be Sen. Minority Leader
Dick Durbin, Dianne Feinstein, Patrick J. Leahy, Tom Harkin, Kent Conrad... hell, John Kerry would be a great choice. The sheer volume of "I told you so" moments that will come by in the next four years will be twice as sweet coming from a guy who fought the good fight.

Not Dodd; he's a good enough guy but he's not a fighter. I want someone young, pissed off, and Bubba-smooth.

1. Not sure the Democrats have much fight left in them
To be honest.

This has been a bad night for the party. BAD.

2. If the election was stolen good riddance to Tom Daschle
We had the Senate. He did not fight hard enought to get us equal protection at the polls. That should have been the major goal of the last congress.

3. Then pelt them with stinky mackerels cause I got a WHALE of fightin in me
I'm ready for whatever tomorrow brings. If we're the minority party, by Jiminy I plan to be the pissiest, angriest, truth-hammeringest minority you can see. I'm ready for it. If Daschle's loss is any lesson, it's teaching us that go-along isn't a winning strategy.

4. Byron Dorgan
Kent is a good guy, but I think Byron would be better
