George W. Bush is now the legitimate president of the United States.
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 04:42 AM by UdoKier
He won the popular vote by a large margin, and for me, that's the test.

Now, it is the American people themselves that are a fraud and a sham.

I will no longer call him "resident". He's the president. But of what?

4. He's ahead by 4 million votes.
Only about 4 million remain uncounted. You willing to bet on Kerry's getting 99% of them?

3. If popular vote is your standard for a "legitimate" President...
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 04:46 AM by Spider Jerusalem
you REALLY need to familiarise yourself with something called the "United States Constitution".

7. Well, he's still a piece of filth.
But he's got the mandate, unless Bev at BBV can come up with some REAL compelling evidence...

6. After all the vitriol that I have heard over the
last 4 years and especially the local republican campaigns, George Bush is NOT my President. I don't have a president.

9. bu$h will never be legitimate.
He got to a position whereby he could actually be elected by virtue (?) of being installed in the White House by the Five Traitors: Scalia, Rehnquist, Kennedy, Thomas and O'Connor.

They put him on third base; he thought he hit a triple. Long live The Asterisk!

The evil that men do lives after them.

13. While I mourn for my democracy at this moment
and cringe at the thought of 4 more years of bfee, I keep reminding myself of what Mahatma Gandhi said:

"I remember that all through history, the way of truth and love has always won; there have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time they can seem invisible, but in the end they always fall".

And I keep that posted to my computer. Today, of all days, I will return to that - over and over again - and try to keep my faith in the face of it all.

Yes I am in shock. Yes I believe my fellow americans drank the kool aid. Yes I don't know how I will survive 4 more years of bfee. But I have to have something to cling to. Because as I face this day and days to come with all of you, my hope for this country is fading.

21. Correction please... "invincible", not "invisible".
"...there have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible." ...(not invisible). Makes a REAL big difference in the meaning of this very important saying of Ghandi's. Thanks.

20. If you're at all a compassionate person ...
... you can look at it this way:

Half of the American voters waking up this morning are happy with the outcome.
