5. Did anyone hear that rePuke Senator last night on "HEALING THE COUNTRY"???
I think he was from Virginia. He stood there with a shit eating grin on his face and answered Rather's question about healing the rift in congress by essentially saying that all we children need to do is stop opposing their tax cuts, their social programs, and their judicial appointments, and all will be just fine.

And by the way, anyone who pissed on Daschle the last year can go fuck themselves too. They might as well have been passing ammunition for Thune. I hope they are PROUD.

Insurgency.

I'm not advocating anything illegal--thinking more in terms of blocking, stalling, rejecting them at every turn. Boycott everything and anything, bring the congress to a grinding halt. Write LTTEs against this fraud every day. Let the media know they're useless, that we get our news from the Internet. Grow food in the garden. Get clothes at Goodwill and yard sales. Expose religious hypocrites at every turn. Form a viable third party that will caucus with the Democrats on the big, important issues. Oppose THEM with everything you are.

Those are my as-yet vague thoughts this morning.

as in, someone conquers your country, and you rebel against the oppressor. we are all insurgents now.

This madman is going to claim a mandate, he has the house and senate to back him up, so there's no need to compromise.

We have become a theocracy. We have become a nation where lying, cheating, and stealing is okay. Remember, this is the message we are sending our children and our grandchildren.

There will be no healing. And, sadly, when the democrats regain power, whether this year or in 2008, nothing will change.
