Take back the Party
After this election, it is my opinion that the Democratic Party has lost its focus. Someone else made a post about the GOP's "Contract for America" from the early nineties. It got me to thinking.

The DNC needs to be vastly reorganized. We need new, REAL, leadership, a tighter, more focussed stance and a better way to communicate to the individual. In 2006, we must make sure that "red" states are not ignored.

We have lost focus. We have lost leadership. We have lost an election.

But we can win in 2006. We will win in 2008. But we must stop settling for "good enough."

We need more Wesley Clarks, more Barack Obamas. We need to get in touch with the real people and help to educate and teach them. We must be tactful, charismatic, but above all unrelenting.

I'm not a Wes Clark Democrat any more. I'm just a Democrat.
