Wanna Know Who Also Lost Last Night?
Guiliani, McCain, and all other moderate Republicans. Their national political careers are finished. Yesterday, I posted that either Jeb or George Allen would get the 2008 nomination because the fundies control the Republican party, lock, stock, and barrel. No non-fundie candidate will ever win the Republican nomination.

In fact, a lot of independent, fair-minded Republicans really need to do a reality check some time soon. Their party is now in the control of people who talk to an "invisible man in the sky". Sure, they'll get their tax breaks and their corporations will run wild, but these fundies cannot be controlled.

I know we overuse the Hitler analogy, but it does apply. Hitler and his Nazi party didn't come into power through the popular vote. They were a minority block in the parliament that the German power elite thought that they could control. They made an alliance with the Nazis which gave Hitler the power. Today, the moderate Republicans have made that exact same alliance.

As the Wall Street Republicans and the media whores drink their champagne tonight, they should know that they no longer have the real power in their party nor in their government. That power is in the hands of Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, and Ralph Reed.

1. And when they figure this out
Will they pay lip service to the fundies, or break away from them?

2. They can't do anything about it now.
Time for action on their part has long past.

3. Gosh, you may be right.
I've said all along that the power elite, or whatever you want to call them, has been playing the Fundies, but you're right -- what if the Fundies have really taken over the party? I'm not sure the Bushes really believe all that stuff, but what if they do? I think that makes it even more frightening! So, maybe the more moderate Republicans made a "deal with the devil" to get the Fundie vote and now it's going to turn on them ...

4. My Guess Is That The Republican Power Elite
arrogantly believe that they still control the fundies. They have no respect for them. They think of them the same way they think of the soldiers in Iraq. Nothing but ignorant animals for them to manipulate.

9. Bush is a true believer
That way he can have all the deficit he wants. The rapture is coming any day now and he will be taken up to heaven leaving treasury investors holding fist-fulls of worthless notes.

5. It is now time for everyone to study the
Fundies and their agenda. You could call it Progress for a New American Fundamentalist America. It is about as concrete and far-reaching as PNAC. Dominionism now has its referendum.

I understand that some people just don't want to open their eyes to the overall intention of the Fundies. I have heard people here get angry and even say that Democrats should not think this way, but now that the Religious Right has America in a headlock, I think it is time to "know your enemy"!

The political outcome we have witnessed today is going to be a big, bright, green light for all of their issues. A Kerry win would have been a sign that America would not tolerate intentions towards a Theocracy.

Read up on it all here:

(great thanks to Ms. Yurica for her careful research and information)

Knowing the intentions and game plan of that movement is essential if you plan to move forward and resist it.

6. Unfortunately, Giuliani does not think he lost last night.
He thinks he's going to run against Hillary in 2006 and actually win, let alone actually declare. He thinks it's going to be Giuliani time all the time.

7. I agree.
The new Evangelical Republican party has no place for the moderates. They were simply campaign props.

8. The Wall Street types are usually atheists
when the fundamentalists realize that, the Wall Street types are going to be out on the pavement holding empty briefcases.

It's going to be a very interesting fight to watch. Meanwhile, we Democrats can take advantage of "minority party" status to quietly mole away. We will rise again.

10. I've been saying it all day,
Bad enough Bush is gonna run the country into the ground financially, and get us into another war before it's all over. The thing that really worries me and has me depressed is that the religious right is getting a strangle hold on our country. We have a country filled with superstitious nut jobs. It's like taking 2 steps forward, under Bill Clinton, and 10 steps back with this current bunch. Religious people are the most dangerous people in the world.

11. I Just Had A Conversation With A Friend
who said the typical, "These things go in cycles" crap. Unbelievable. He has no clue about what's going to happen, and where the power in this country lies. These fundies are not going to go away. They're not going to be content with being minor players. They're going to choose the next Republican nominee, the next president, and all federal court level judges.

Again, I hate to overuse the Hitler analogy, but this is exactly how Nazi Germany got started. Exactly. You cannot bottle religious fanatics. You cannot control them. You cannot compromise with them nor reason with them. There's no middle ground with these people. Either you believe exactly as they do, or you will be dismissed.

will turn some moderates like Snowe away.

14. What makes you think there will be another election? Bush will pass
legislation that will end Presidential term limits and he'll be appointed for life.
