I'm tired of being told to heal
Kerry says it and now Bush is saying it. Come together, let's heal this divided nation. It's total bullshit. This nation is divided more than ever and yesterday did NOTHING to change that. What exactly does "healing" mean anyway? Get in with the Bush kabal? He's certainly not going to even pretend to throw any scraps our way.

2. Come together with...
Fascists, Nazis, Terrorists, Murderers, Bigots, Racists, Fear-Mongers, and with people like the Neo-Conservative Horowitz who says "Liberals have an alliance with Radical Islam". (And as a Liberal Muslim, that just sickens me)

They must be out of their mind.

4. The only way to heal is to get angry.
That's exactly what they don't want. The theives would love to see us curl up in despair, or be conciliatory. I'm not willing to do either. The best medicine for keeping despair at bay, is anger.

14. Anger directed at the people who voted Republican.
The days of "reaching out" are over. They are on their own and the storm is approaching.

6. I agree with you
Next time my father-in-law says something patronizingly conciliatory, I'll tell him to save his breath. For too many years I silently put up with his Clinton jokes and dirty-old-man sniggers, his free tickets to NRA meetings, and his button pushing and pushing and pushing.

Now it's high time he put up with my * jokes, my liberal hippie stoner giggles, my Xmas gifts of F-9/11 dvds and Jon Stewart books for all the grandkids. He's got a lot to put up with - he likes to bitch, and I'm not going to listen to it lying down. And he better put up with it and put up with it nicely - I'm carrying his eldest son's first child.

8. No.
I'm going to have integrity and class. The other side won. I don't know if it was fair or not, but it does me no good to speculate at this level.

But I will not "heal."

I will not join hands with people who think they can legislate when life begins. I will not work with those who claim they are "pro-life" but send thousands to their death. I will not work with people who go to war because they want to. I will not work with people who want to legislate what I do in my own bedroom. I will not work with people who increase the size of the Federal Government. I will not work with people who try to undermine my rights under the Constitution. I will not work with people who say the word "liberal" as if it is vulgar and undermine the liberal efforts of our fore-fathers, our civil liberty leaders, and the right to vote.

I'm finished being open-minded. I am stubborn. I am close-minded. And I am right. Left, technically.

I will not be complacent.

13. I agree. This is it for me. I don't want to heal and I don't want to....
compromise. I am correct in my way of thinking and the "winner" in this case is wrong. I'm tired of healing and I'm tired of having faith in my fellow man. I no longer with to help or interact with anyone who is infected with religion or bigotry. I no longer care about their plight...their pains...their lives. Fuck em.

When it gets bad enough, then they are free to come crawling to us like we've been crawling to them for the past several decades. We're the smart ones, their the morons. Letting them set the tone has turned them into a bunch of snotty-nosed children. Fuck em.

15. I in no way disagree with you, but I think that the titles of the board
sections indicate that this one is supposed to be positive and the other one negative.
