From my daughter
it's raining here today, she says to me just now on the way home from school-
"Maybe the sky is crying because George bush won."

2. Pouring rain here this morning, so....
First thing I did when I got to my desk was play Stevie Ray Vaughn's "The Sky is Crying" and OOPS, did I forget to plug my headphones in? Sorry about that! NOT!

3. Tell your daughter that this is what happened to me:
People go to church to commune with God, but I have those private moments with him in my garden. Strange things have been known to happen. Once, in prayer, I looked up to find a cloud in the shape of a palm print slipping past an opening in the canvass of the trees. "In the hands of God" is the feeling I got. The problem that brought me to the garden resolved itself shortly after.

Today, I went out and I looked up and was disappointed to find nothing that even remotely looked like a sign. It was a cloudless sky, just piercing blue. For a moment I felt abandoned. But then, it came to me. It was a flawless blue skydrop. And that's what Dems need to be at this time. Solid blue.

4. Snow is DUMPING in Anchorage too.
Not that that's radical or anything - snowing in alaska.

I like to think that's the reason though. :-)
