It is going to be hard to win elections unless we can stop blatant lies
from being repeated on every level in the media. We cannot let the media blindly repeat Rove spin and distortions about our candidate.
Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and their vile ilk must be confronted and neutralized.
The brainwashing must stop.

2. Too bad lying isn't a crime
Criminalizing it would solve the problem.

3. Get used to it.
We are going to have to earn back their respect before they will give it to us.

4. We need Dem pundits who are up to date on the GOP talking points.
I swear to God 75 % of the time I could have done better than the people sent out to face the Repugs. And the Swiftliars ! They should have been laughed off every show they were on.

5. Stronger libel laws...
... like those that exist in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand would help immeasurably. It goes like this: you are free to say what you want but not to tell lies in public about someone else. I'm not of the opinion that it weakens the 1st amendment (which is pretty much in the trash bin anyway).

As an example, no one could get away with the 'Clinton murders' crap.

7. Corporate control of media and government must be dealt with
We cannot do it through government - they effectively own it, and now the ballot machines.

The only thing they care about is your dollars.

Vote with your dollars, the only Democratic votes they will ever count again.
