Don't move to Canada; Move to Ohio and Florida
Beef up our representation in swing states and we've got it made for the next elections. Anyone leaving for Canada is fucking the rest of us over by taking away much needed Democratic votes. Let's fill the swing states up w/ dems and see what we can do.

1. As an Ohioan, I can only say
FUCK THAT. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE HERE. THE STATE IS BROKE. THE CITIES ARE BROKE. THE PEOPLE ARE BROKE. YOU WILL NOT FIND WORK. SAVE YOURSELF -- STAY AWAY.

2. I moved from OH to CA...
and I wish I hadn't. Not that my vote would have been counted.

Don't fret, Buckeyes - Columbus is a great (blue) city - as are the other metro areas and you don't have to let the rural, toothless hillbillies take over. Keep working.

4. And how long have the Republicans been running Ohio?
We've had a Republican governor for 14 straight years.

The Republicans have controlled the state house and senate for 12.

They've had every elected cabinet position for at least 10.

The state has been on a steady economic decline. We used to have a "rainy day" fund in the state treasury in the hundreds of millions of dollars. That's gone. The tobacco settlement has been squandered. And you can't blame this on Democrats. The state democratic party has been powerless for the past decade or so, to the point where they're practically a joke. The candidates they've lined up in the last 2 gubernatorial elections were a joke in terms of name recognition and campaign funding. And like Bush in this election. Bob Taft was very vulnerable when he ran for re-election in 2002, but he won in a landslide.
