Ways to beat the electoral college?
Make Atlanta the 51st state, repeat as necessary in Miami, Austin, St. Louis, Denver, etc. Every blue metropolis gets +2 senators and +2 electoral votes, the remaining red states have fewer people and EVs. Population centers in the south and southwest would have an actual say in their federal destiny, and red states can spend their non-existent tax revenue on abstinence or whatever.

or... double the number of Representatives in the House. Electoral votes would slightly less than double, shifting power from barren land masses with two senators to actual people. Idaho and Wyoming would go from 3 EVs to 4 EVs, NY from 31 to 60, CA from 55 to 108.

or.....?
