So are the votes going to be counted or not?
Ohio? Florida?

Don't we need a tally to certify the election?

Anyone heard anything?

8. Counted, yes. Concession doesn't stop the count.
It does mean that Kerry can't challenge the results, though.

3. need data
I don't have enough posts to start a thread, so I can't put the call out myself, but hopefully you can and will help. The lady who did the number crunching for Florida found at

http://ustogether.org/Florida_Election.htm

is willing to do the number crunching for Ohio, but needs the same type of data. Can you put the call out? It would be very much appreciated.

7. The junta is a living, parasitic organism and it's laying its
eggs inside of us. (Sorry to be so gross) Somehow, we've got to rid ourselves of this blight or we're going to die from it.

6. This is like getting a monthly bank statement that has no
documented information. Who would put up with that?

Election math is second grade level arithmetic. The tallying is complicated by the sheer mass. For that reason, accurate techniques should be developed that are totally verify able by corroborating documentation regardless of how long it takes to get that done. The numbers from the time the votes are cashed should be totally transparent to the public. I mean short of showing people's faces, the actual vote casting should be shown on public TV. The counting should be publicly broadcast. There should be NO SECRET activities.
If the public doesn't trust the voting process then Democracy is dead, simple as that.
