John Stewart's Ratings
I just looked at a list of show ratings that was posted at atrios' blog. Recently I have been hearing a large amount of talk about John Stewart's show. This lead me to believe he had high ratings. First, what are the ratings for Stewart's show. Second, are ratings done by catergory? Would Stewart's show not be on a certain ratings list in that it is a ratings list for news shows only?

1. It's on cable.
Very few cable shows show up in many ratings lists. There is, someone explained to me, just too much variation between the stations offered by different cable companies. Or something like that!

2. i read sometime back, i think maybe in Rollingstone
that he gets about 2-3 million per night which in cable land is good.
