What % of the vote did Kerry get in NYC ???
I thought I had read somewhere that he got 75%? Was that correct? If so, doesn't that disprove the theory that the American people were voting out of fear? If they were voting out of fear, would not NYC be the people that would be more fearful than anyone else in the nation? How would we explain this?

1. sigh
Punishing big cities like NYC for its "Godless" ways perhaps? It's total crap. That fact really pisses me off

9. And interestingly enough, the Jewish vote in New York was
something like 78% for Kerry. So much for the "NY Zionists."

3. There you go with "facts" again
trying to "prove" things with "logic".

4. I saw closer to 83.3%
sorry, don't have a link.

Everybody I spoke to said they felt betrayed by the rest of the country. WE are going to have to deal with the consequences of this vote, not some dumbass cracker in a trailer in Montana.

We voted for Kerry because we know he would have been better prepared to take care of our ports, chemical and nuclear plants. Or at least would have ensured that the money promised to us after 9/11 actually got disbursed.

6. Yes, but the cowards in the Red States who are so afraid of
terrorism got to decide our fate for us. I'll never forgive them for that. If we are attacked again, I place the blame directly on thier shoulders.

7. New York wasn't afraid. DC wasn't afraid...
Edited on Fri Nov-05-04 06:20 PM by Pig_Latin_Lover
Massachusetts wasn't afraid, nor was Pennsylvania.

But, Kentucky was afraid. Arizona was afraid. Utah was afraid. These states are armchair quarterbacks.

55,000,000 voters may be the "minority" in this election, but the blue states control all of the major military targets. Just remember that.

10. As a resident of NYC, I can safely say "Yes, there was fear"
but it wasn't about Kerry.

12. If you count the whole city, as we usually do here in NYC, it was 75%.
The borough of manhattan was higher at 82%.
