WTF JOHN KERRY.......W,,,, T,,,, F,,,,?
YOU PROMISED US. YOU FUCKING PROMISED US TO STICK BY US, TO NOT LET THE ELECTION BE STOLEN, TO MAKE SURE THE VOTES ARE COUNTED.

WELL HERE IT IS. YOUR NATION NEEDS YOU. YOUR PEOPLE NEED YOU. THE WORLD NEEDS YOU. IM SORRY IF YOU DONT LIKE IT OR THINK IT WILL CAUSE DISRUPTION BUT THIS IS A CONTINUATION OF A COUP THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS.

EITHER YOU ARE WITH AMERICA OR YOU ARE WITH BUSH. THERE IS NO IN BETWEEN. THERE IS NO 'WORKING TOGETHER' THERE IS NO COOPERATION.

GODDAMNIT JOHN F KERRY THIS IS IT.

YOU CHOSE TO LEAD US AND NOW YOU BETTER JUST STAND UP AND LEAD.

EVERYONE, YOU TELL HIM WE NEED A LEADER OR WE ARE DEAD. A LOT OF US WILL BE LITERALLY DEAD. I HAVE EMAILED HIM AGAIN TODAY.

1. How do you know he isn't quietly behind the scenes getting info
collected? I don't think he has given up. He's working hard to find something to pounce with. I trust that when he said he would fight for us that he truly meant it.

2. you need to think about this:
when he conceded he said:
every vote must be counted. every vote must count.not by litigation.by the people.

6. i dont know what he is doing
i do know im not seeing anything.

so please, people, let him know. we need him now and we expect him to keep his promise.

we need a public face for this, we need a name and a national leader. we can do the ground work, we can have his back but he needs to have ours.

he promised us. he promised us. i dont know if we win but we fight.

7. From what I know of John Kerry's 35 years in public life..........
he has never backed away from a fight and I don't expect him to do it now.

I would be seriously disillusioned if he doesn't fight this.

8. HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING?
Huh? AND STOP YELLING AT US! JEEZ.

Best thing EVER he could do would be to lead from behind. Lead strategically. That way he doesn't get the "Sore Loserman" pasted on him like they did on Gore. Let Ralph and Bev and BBV and Randi Rhodes and *us* take him down. WE CAN TAKE HIM DOWN.

We can do this.

Have you faxed Nader?
Have you contributed to BBV?
Have you done any of the research for recounts as requested on other threads?

Look around. It's happening HERE. NOW. Go get on it.

14. The problem being painted is one of leadership
I understand the back room hush hush type of thing and letting others do the job for you - but in that case perhaps those people should be the leaders.

Perhaps more were looking from something more along the lines in his speech of "In order to avoid a long drawn out battle I am conceding. But I believe this election has brought to a better light the many voting problems we have in our country with black box voting, intimidation, etc. We need to pull together to make sure all the votes are counted, and counted accurately. I will step aside and gracefully bow out but I will now lead the effort, along with others, to combat this growing problem. My website will stay up, it will be updated weekly, and I will use all my powers in my current position to investigate this WITH the president (ie, putting him under the spotlight and forcing him to respond or opening the door for reporters to hammer him on it). All of America and the world needs to make sure we get this right."

9. Relax and Reload
Keep a few milestones in mind --

When are Ohio's provisional/absentee ballots counted? November 11th.

When are Florida's provisional/absentee ballots counted? (I'm not certain about this one, but under state law, they do have to count them.)

When does the Electoral College meet? December 12th.

When is Inauguration Day? January 20, 2005.

This allows time to track down the "voting irregularities" and make the case in public that there was rampant cheating in the election. Not a lot of time, but enough to crack the nut open.

But it's not a process that John Kerry can initiate. When Gore did it four years ago, the Right was able to remobilize and won the battle in the press weeks before the Supreme Court handed Bush the Presidency. This time, Team Bush telegraphed their "strategery" with public statements calling the Democrats "delusional" for wanting to count all the votes ... at 3 AM on November 3rd!

Plenty of people are investigating voting fraud, especially black-box fraud, right now. The discrepancy in exit polling v. the official vote tallies in Diebold districts alone is enough to raise serious questions.

Kerry knows that conceding the election has no legal relevance -- if the Ohio vote tally gives him the majority, John Kerry becomes the President-Elect. No Ifs, Ands or Buts about it. Kerry also took all the wind out of the blow-hard GOP's sails by making a high-minded concession speech.

Let the investigation continue. You -- yes, you -- may even be able to help the process. If hard evidence of vote tampering emerges, a righteously enraged John Kerry will be mighty difficult to shout down.

Later in the Winter, when we have put our heads (back) together and are formulating a course of action for 2006 and 2008, we can assess the actions of John Kerry. But right now, it's simply an exercise in catharsis.

So relax. Get out of the house for a few hours this evening. Get a good night's sleep. Decompress. And keep an eye on the vote investigations and the upcoming Ohio provisional ballot count.

This isn't over by a longshot!

11. many thanx,
I'm glad for the advice, I've just about blown a gasket wondering if the "mainstream media" would ever pick up on any of the fraud, knowing full well they wouldn't. It is correct and proper to have all bases covered before coming out with the evidence. Otherwise, we're all crackpot conpiracy theorists looking to create havoc with a perfectly good election. Way to go, Thanx again.

10. Another constructive thread.
You have no proof or idea what he may or may not be doing. If the choice is you screaming WTF while Kerry works it behind the scenes and the combined Republican corporate media screaming WTF if Kerry was overtly contesting, I suspect he'd choose the former. I would.

13. So does he still have our backs?
Do we have his back? Could a massive public demand for cleaning this up be ignored? How much can he do if we have already "moved on" and lapsed into resignation?

Bush support is broad, but we may be overestimating its depth. The possibility of bipartisan support - from the public, not the pols - in the cause of stopping election fraud is not out of the question.
