As I went up to compliment her for it - her mom came up to me and said "I raised my daughter right." I responded "You sure did!"

That shit isn't fucking funny. I've spent the last five months of my life walking what seemed like every inch of my county to talk to people, and register voters. We were BLUE in 2000 and in 1996, and in 1992.... I vote in the largest precinct in my county, and almost everyone there spent the day talking about how horrible * is and why we need to vote his sorry ass out. When the results came in, despite exit polls to the contrary, the county was somehow RED.

Fuck Bush and the Republican Party for rigging another election. It wasn't Ohio's fault.

(goddamn it, I let someone get on my nerves due to their ignorance.)

NOT MY PROBLEM...Yesterday I was at the mall and saw a very long line of senior citizens (about 250), many in wheelchairs and on walkers...these people were part of a flu-shot lottery...all were holding medical forms and numbers. One elderly man told me that this was his fourth day at the mall and he was hoping that his number would be called, and then he started ranting about the flu vaccine shortage, old people on fixed income, and people my age should do something about healthcare in America. I asked him if he had voted for Bush and when he said yes I told him that his healthcare was NOT MY PROBLEM.
