I'm not up on the history of the Labor Movement but I think this looks more like
the early 20th century Labor Struggle. These time seem much darker and foreboding. You can feel the tension and the possibility for violent protest.

3. It does
in the 20s, there was an agricultural depression, but it was hidden away and ignored by the high living folks who played in the stock market. Of course, when the crash came, those folks suddenly realized what it was like to be 'have nots'. The EU won't stand for us to bully the world. They were patiently waiting for us to boot Bush out. Since we didn't, they will more than likely pull out the economic rug. Privatizing Social Security will be a joke as the stock market becomes a joke, and the only ones to benefit will be Bush's fatcat friends who will simply move to an offshore island or gated communities.

6. We going to have a re-play of events like the Harlan County Wars?

Mine workers and labor unions against the corporate owners. US Army troops were actually sent in to break up striking miners.
