The ReFormation has started. Step 1:
We have a lot of work to do to take back this party, and take back this country.
There are many obstacles in our path, but in the coming weeks, the most vile of those roadblocks will exposed and any decent American will see to it that our most precious gift, our right to vote, is protected and preserved. Godspeed, Bev Harris.

Our first step must be to define ourselves. I implore every Democrat to read the book "Homegrown Democrat" by Garrison Keillor. It is the handbook for Democratic principles and values. It will make you proud to be a Democrat.

One of the impressions I was left with is that we are truly the party of the people. This might be an old meme, but it still rings true today.

The Republicans are the party of corporations, and this is even more apparent since that is what has benefitted most in the last half century under their rule.

Define for yourself who we are, and what we stand for. Internalize it, and never waver from it.

And remember this, When things really get bad, The people of this country always, and I mean ALWAYS, turn to the Democrats to bail their asses out of trouble.

Be proud, and be strong. We will do this together.

I'm Dave Adams, and I approved this message.

2. Step 1. Petition the party to kick out the DLC
We're sick to death of losing elections. The DLC cretins have given us contests of conservatives against reactionaries. We need a real alternative.

So say it long, say it loud, say it in snail mail. DUMP THE DLC!

3. You can be religious and be Democrat
In fact, all the major religions as well as the religions of the Native Americans stress the need to help others, to be tolerant, to work on improving the lot of everyone. These values are often overlooked by the so-called "Christian" right. I think it important that believing Democrats stress the importance of these values to other believers, and to use them to walk their talk as we all work together to take back our country. God willing, it will happen soon.

4. I agree...
I have always felt the Democratic party was the party of inclusiveness, where anyone could be brought aboard, and represented.

I have never seen that in the actions of the Republicans. The are exclusive.

6. Yes, I want us to get to a point wher we can run a loser like Bush
and still win the election.

Can we do it without rigging voting machines?
