was cruising the older threads from this morning.

To post a link..you go to the address(this is at the top of the page where it says "address") and left click to high light "blue" and then you right click to get the window that has "copy", "paste", ect..and then you highlight "copy" and click "left".

You bring the "copy" back to the message board and click "right" and where it says "paste"..you click "left" and viola..you've got LINK!

This may be a long explanation but it's the best way I can do it:) ..

To me, it was a hint at how the signers of the Declaration of Independence must have felt. Not to the same magnitude, I know, but for me it helped me turn my anger and grief into something more positive.

I was hesitant at first and I even messed my post up! LOL! But it was great!

I am a humbled by all of the attention that post has gotten. It reinforces my belief in humanity and the bravery of common people. There is a thread now questioning my intent and basically accussing me of being an undercover agent to get all of your names. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I don't think we should break it up, it is more powerful the way it is. I am blown away each time I log on and there are more names, more people who have shuffled off their fear.

I am not afraid anymore. Hundreds of people here are not afraid. This could be the spark of a new democratic party revival.

Some say we need to change our values and run on conservative issues. I say we need to be proud of our heritage and history of our compassion and humanity or our bravery and sacrifice.

We won't win by being republicans-lite, we will win when we can say proudly, "I am a Democrat and I won't back down from anyone."

Thanks again to all the DU posters especially Collene who was one of the first to say, "My name is..."

It really helped me, too..I was too much in grief to even do it on Tuesday but I looked for your thread on Wednesday morning and felt I was doing something for our Democracy in a time that we appeared to be defeated.

I've since come to believe that what happened was for the highest good and it will be revealed to us in due time.

And, of course, I don't mean that bush will be good for us! x(

I won't be changing who I am to "win" and election..I believe in all the things that Kerry talked about..and I thought it was great that he wouldn't do what Clinton suggested ..as far as Gay rights..to better "postiion" himself.
