No clean slate.
The Republican Party and the Bush Administration have already claimed that the last four years didn't matter. They have a "mandate".

In keeping with Bush's periodic reinvention of the truth, periodic rewriting of history and his periodic "I'll be good this time" statements to the world, we have a new and improved White House.

Don't look behind the curtain, though. It's the same house of cards that was rove on us in the last four years. Make no mistake.

I agree with the poster here that said, "No clean slate".
